An initiative resulting from a joint commitment of the Philanthropic Activities Office and the Yvonne L. Bombardier Cultural Centre, the objective of the Yvonne L. Bombardier Graduate Scholarship Program in Visual Arts is to contribute to Québec’s next generation of artists.

The J. Armand Bombardier Foundation is proud to present the 5th recipient of the Yvonne L. Bombardier Graduate Scholarship in Visual Arts: Nicolas Dufour-Laperrière.

Nicolas, a student at UQAM (Université du Québec à Montréal) won over the members of the Selection Committee with his excellent work at questioning identity and historical issues, as well as Quebec's cultural heritage, in an informed and critical way. His creative process focuses on issues related to memory and narrative photography. His multidisciplinary approach definitely qualifies his artistic practice.
