The following requests are not generally considered:

• Acquisition of equipment for administrative use
• Activities expressly intended to benefit an individual 
• Activities or events associated with Christmas
• Libraries, museums, art galleries, historical societies and cultural centres
• Fundraising campaigns to which the Foundation has already contributed
• Sponsorships
• Sports competitions (amateur or elite)
• Conferences, seminars, conventions and festivals
• Daycare centres and toy libraries
• Social or political pressure groups
• New religious movements
• Audio and video productions 
• Projects submitted by a university faculty without prior approval or recommendation by the institution’s development office
• Publications and translations
• Websites

There is no deadline. Applications are processed throughout the year.

No. All applications must be sent by regular mail.

There is no reason to send an application by ExpressPost or courier. We encourage applicants to avoid these unnecessary costs.

How much we may donate depends on the financing needed for any specific project. Please bear in mind that for the sake of their own long-term viability, we tend to support projects that are receiving financial support from several different partners.

Applicants will receive a response no later than 90 days following the reception of their application by the Foundation.
